IKEA in Ludwigsburg

As any IKEA store in the world, but the employee are way more rude as you are probably used to.

Click & Collect disaster! Don't do this to yourself. Waited almost 3 hours, then just left. Hopeless.

Click & collect worked without a hitch. 1 part was missing, free home delivery. Super nice and helpful staff who do their best during this time.

What else can you say, finally working with professionals. Registration, collection takes 20 minutes, simply Top👍

Booked a click-and-collect time slot from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., there were initially around 10 minutes in the queue for registration. Then drove to the parking lot, waited until the order number appears on the display board and the goods were picked up on a cart in the appropriate box. Pick up and invite another 15 minutes. Everything together took only 25 minutes (we were there in April and waited 2.5 hours, so a complete improvement in time management!) The complete pick-up worked very well!

My rating is only based on the Click & Collect experience during the lockdown: The organization in itself is well done: you register without having to get out, are assigned a number and then go to the appropriate parking space and wait until the number is displayed or an employee comes and brings the goods directly to the car. So far so good, minimal contact and good idea. The problem: Absolutely disastrous time management. We had previously booked a time slot of 1 hour in which we can pick up the goods. We were there punctually at the beginning of the lesson and stood in a traffic jam for 1 hour until we registered. Then we waited another 1:20 h in the parking lot until it was our turn. There were at least 200 other cars with us in the parking lot and we were waiting at the same time. Significantly more registrations were accepted here than the team could manage in the time. Please plan better. The waiting time without a toilet and food supply is really an imposition!

Waited 2 hours for a closet. That is not how it works. The employees are a bit slow, there are 7 collection boxes, of which a maximum of 3 are full, the rest remains empty.

Catastrophe. No logistics. All mixed up. 4 hours waiting time for a cabinet at the output. Neither knew what the other was doing. And nobody knew. Allegedly a system error. Well ...

Click and Collect worked great. Received goods after waiting 2 minutes. Really implemented and the 10 € were worth it. We were really surprised how well it was organized organisiert

Who doesn't love ikea ??? Despite Corona and mega stress, very friendly and helpful. 👍

Friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately too full on Fridays and especially on Saturdays, which means that the stress level can rise quite quickly. Better to visit Monday-Thursday in the morning.

A large variety of furniture and deco artikels in very large store. You can find everything you need for your house and a lot of inspiration on how to arrange your home.

Was there today despite the long queue, it went quickly. The staff were really helpful and extremely friendly. Has not been here for a long time but will now go shopping here again was very relaxed. Hopefully with a restaurant visit again soon. All the best to all employees. Lots of strength and patience

Completely overcrowded despite COVID. Long waiting time. Delivery of furniture was "forgotten" at the agreed date. This things happen frequently.

I FOUND ALL FOR THE HOUSE

Today I was back at IKEA for the first time in about 1 year. Wow, so much has changed, you don't even know where to look first. It turned out really nice. Keep it up.

Was great. There was a line in front of the entrance, but it went quickly. If everyone at Ikea adhered to the rules of distance, it would be perfect.

No one even tried to keep their distance, even though it's lock down time, everyone came with the hole family

Luckily this time, but didn't buy any furniture either. Last time too much went wrong. Today absolutely full ... but hygiene measures are good.

Economical Furniture.. if you think items to be changed 5 years or so and want new one.. its worth.

When returning garden furniture, we were told that it must not be assembled. So we dismantled everything and packed it neatly. We were told on site that it would not be taken back because it was not in the original packaging.

Somehow I remembered Ikea better. The food was ok but a little under the price. You have to be lucky with the staff. Some are very nice and help quickly, others don't feel like it and don't help at all. The dishes department is a disaster. There are only single things from each set (which looks like something). There is no complete. Either the supplier is bad or the customers put together a set of several.

Even during the week it is almost impossible to find someone who can answer questions about the products on offer. I felt pretty helpless. Instructions for assembly are getting worse and worse in my opinion. Much has to be found out by trying.

A bit overcrowded and temporary entrance/exit is not obvious.

We wanted to buy a bathroom mirror and what was sold out was of course the only mirror that would have fit, but you don't go to ikea if you can use other things, especially decoration 😉. What I missed were the ability to disinfect your hands while shopping.

A lot of items to buy, friendly staff. Crowdy at times (no surprise). But during the COVID-19 pandemic, the safety implementation in place could be better especially inside the market.

It was very crowded in the lower area, despite Corona, and you couldn't keep your distance. We also didn't get some things, such as Kallax shelves, even though we were there at 11 a.m. I was really annoyed afterwards and will definitely not come back here anytime soon.

Was pleased to see that IKEA is one of the few businesses in our area that are still making a visible effort to help control the spread of Covid-19. More should follow their example.

Not so good

Currently in Corona times you cannot work with the guidelines. When asked, employees do not know your areas. Current rules on click and load are torture, provided the signs are barely visible when you first arrive. In addition, we were at the goods issue and we were assured to wait until our number is called. After 30 minutes we approached again and only the 3rd IKEA employee knew where we had to go. We went to click and load, but there was only one more note and it went back to goods issue. The people there were already annoyed because the called numbers did not match for a long time. And the employees rather encouraged / worsened the situation with allegations. After 2 hours we were ready for what had been ordered / paid for, because half of it was missing after something was finally delivered. After another 30 minutes we went to Ikea and it took another 1 hour until everything was finally available on the goods list. Just pure chaos

Huge place with a lot of options and everything under one roof.. I love IKEA for the affordability and awesome functionality of the items it provides.. Really beautiful concept of room layout designs

As with every Ikea, well stocked with friendly staff. Products available for every budget. Must visit if you are moving to a new unfurnished house or just renovating your current home.

Complicated...take a time..

Always a pleasure to visit and hunt for bargains.

The routes inside to be improved, as well after the C-19 especially. Since inside is quite crowded and people is closer than <1,5m in some areas, therefore anyone who wants to spend less time , should be able to spend less time. More optiones for better routing inside between the halls to be offered to customers to reduce risk of outbreak. We should not walk long distances and be exposed of others. Find the ways and reduce walking distance between the halls!

Placed in a very good location with really bid space for parking!

Sufficiently good organised during Corona crisis. Was way too crowdy and many guests weren't covering nose with their masks. Just the mouth was covered though.

Convenient and very friendly employees

Always good for inexpensive furniture that you want to put together yourself as well as more expensive items for the consumer looking for quality. There are defects with some products and long lines during this vivid period but still worth the journey for your home needs. Some products vary by location as well as availability: checking the website for what's in stock beforehand is useful and saves lots of heartache. Vat forms can be used with instore purchases or online purchases.

If you have to pick up stuff... be prepared to wait for more than 2 hours after your appointment time!
